Description
瀬戸優が手がける《シロフクロウ（FULL-B）》は、雪原に静かに立ち尽くす一羽の姿を通して、極北の時間そのものを映し出す彫刻作品です。翼を閉じ、ただ大地に身を置くその姿は、沈黙のうちに自然と一体化しながらも、眼差しの奥に「生きる意志」という普遍的な問いを宿しています。普段は触れることのない北極圏の象徴を目前に呼び寄せることで、観る者は自然と人間、存在と時間との関わりを改めて考えさせられます。

Artist
1994 年神奈川県小田原市生まれ。
自然科学を考察し、主に野生動物をモチーフに彫刻作品を制作・発表・販売する。
作品と対面した時に、1/1 スケールでしか表現できない空気感に拘り、実物大で制作する。
素材であるテラコッタ（土器）は作家の触覚や軌跡がダイレクトに表面に現れ、躍動感のある作品となっている。展示販売を中心に国内外へ幅広く作品を展開。
ファッションブランドとのコラボレーション、ボードゲームのプロデュースや2024年にはザ・リッツ・カールトン東京のオリジナル日本酒およびウイスキーのラベルデザインを手掛けるなど近年活動は多岐に渡る。
2024年に株式会社 subig を設立。
subigでは野生動物の環境を守るための継続的な寄付を目的にプロダクトデザインを手掛ける。
2025年には原宿神宮前交差点にある原宿八角館ビル1階にてYUGEISHA GALLERY主催「瀬戸優彫刻北極展【ARCTIC POINT # 66°33′50.3″N】」を開催。
